Job Description


The purpose of this job is to assist the credit department with conducting credit investigations by  analyzing credit and financial information of commercial customers that are applying for credit. This position will also work on special projects as needed. 


Key Accountabilities: 

Day-to-Day Activities

  • Assist the credit department in auditing existing credit files
  • Assist the credit department with tracking and completing of annual credit reviews 

Credit Function

  • Assist the credit department in gathering payment history, financials, and trade references on prospective and current customers
  • Prepare documentation to substantiate findings and credit decisions 

Special Projects and Analysis

  • Assist the credit department in creating trend analysis reports from the data elements coming from Dunn & Bradstreet and Credit Report Monitor  
  • Participate in additional projects as they arise 

Other frequent duties:

  • Provide support to the Treasurer as needed 

Perform other duties as assigned 


Education Required: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree – Finance, or related degree

**Senior or Junior status required 

Experience Required: Accounting or analytical experience preferred

**Business environment experience, relevant courses, club participation and internship preferred 

Skills Required

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)

Advanced math, finance, and accounting skills
