Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE:

The purpose of this job is to provide support in the areas of recruiting, community outreach candidate sourcing. This position will help create a positive candidate experience and customer support for hiring teams.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

Recruiting Administration

  • Coordinate and participate in job fairs and educational presentations
  • Assist with posting jobs on various sites and management of postings
  • Create/update job descriptions company wide
  • Train new hiring managers on the applicant management system

  • Phone screen candidates
  • Set up on-site interviews
  • Provide informational building tours for interviewees
  • Follow up with interviewed candidates
  • Input and analyze pre-employment screening information
  • Administer pre-employment assessments
  • Review and categorize applicants if needed
  • Conduct reference and background checks
  • Maintains records on recruiting activities as required including completion of annual EEO reporting requirements

Community Outreach

  • Serve as an ambassador of REG while working with various companies within the community
  • Maintain database administration for purpose of tracking
  • Schedule of events for community outreach and university relations 
  • Identify opportunities to increase employment brand awareness in all REG locations

Candidate Sourcing

  • Identify qualified candidates through networking, events and social media
  • Seek, establish and maintain relationships with recruitment sources including colleges, universities, professional networks and associations, and career fairs with the goal of recruiting diverse and qualified team members
  • Provide information on company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants

Other frequent duties:

  • Arrange travel and lodging for applicants, if necessary
  • Maintain confidential records at all time

Perform other duties as assigned


JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Required:

  • 2 year associates degree – Business Administration, Communication, Psychology or related degree required; experience may be substituted for education
  • 4 year bachelor’s degree – Human Resource Management or related business degree preferred

Experience Required:  0-2 years

Skills Required: 

  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Extensive math and accounting skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

 Special skills or knowledge preferred:

Knowledge of government compliance requirements
